Love across the bridge…

This is no longer the time for postcards nor letters meticulously written; those that carry tons of feelings, events missed because of the damn distance that separates us from each other and that let us wait impatiently every morning for the factor… Times have really changed, we live in the digital era, everything passes through an icy screen so cold as an iceberg in the middle of the lost ocean; cold as an evening adorned with giant snowflakes falling from the windy and stormy sky just like a usual winter’s evening… The digital age creates the easiest way for people to meet. Actually, many nationalities are connected every single minute, through the network and too many couples are linked, especially those who were totally seperated, with not even a chance to know each other… Destiny gave them that rare opportunity to speak, to call, to see and rarely to meet each other… According to you, could it be easy for them? Could they speak the same language? Could they listen to the same music? Are they sharing the same religion, the same culture? If the question was asked to me, I would have said that it was not easy at all, not even possible! If in the same country, from one delegation to another everything changes; the accent, the clothes, the habits, the traditions, the cooking what about the differences between two people from different countries? The digital may have helped them to meet, to share some hobbies, to know each other, to get on with each other but did it think about afterward? what to do after this miraculous encounter? To stop there? To move on? To bless the digital world or to banish it forever? Could a digital encounter be so precious as the real meeting is? Could it be so sincere? so deep? Yes! no! no plausible answer until today and it’s a shame. We are human trapped by our own invention …
